House of the Damned
Let me take you to a house tonight
A house ever bright, where all is all right
There in the kitchen is Adam awake
Eve lies asleep not knowing her fate
Adam is angry and the world shall pay
From him sanity has slipped away
He walks to the counter and grabs a knife
“Ah a worthy tool with which I’ll kill my wife”
He laughs to himself a silent laugh
“Ha Ha Ha I’ll cut her in half”
He climbs the stairs to the upstairs bedroom
Eve still not aware of the impending doom
He opens the door and walks right in
Sees her asleep and grins and grins
Hands trembling, barely containing his joy
Tonight is a night he will enjoy
He walks to her face and strokes her hair
Moves in and whispers in her ear
That’s when the wife, she opens her eyes
“What’s the matter? Is everything alright?
Let me sleep, turn off the light”
“Do not worry sweet wife, I’ll take away the light
It’ll be dark again, sleep tight”
Clap, Crack, Swish and Slash …..
A violent laugh pierces the night
Hell satisfied, demons delight
(2)
The door it creaks and the man sees a boy
In the door, his presence annoys
“Father I’m scared, can I sleep here tonight”
Says the little boy in his fright
“Of course you can”
Says the man
“Come here, come in
O’ child of my sin”
The father smiles a red smile
And lures the child in his arms …
Strokes his hair, head held tight
Knife ready about to strike …
Frail and weak are we inside
Inside is the dark where our souls reside
Once sanity’s eclipse has taken away the light
Only then shall you know the animal’s might
